Role & responsibilities

• Procure primary and secondary packing materials such as PVC/PVDC films, aluminum foils, cartons, labels, leaflets, caps, bottles, shippers, and related packaging components.
• Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved procurement plans.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Warehouse, QA, and Vendors to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
• Conduct vendor evaluations, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize procurement terms.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and monitor material consumption trends.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for vendor approvals, change controls, and material qualification activities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP requirements and company SOPs.
• Maintain procurement records, purchase reports, and supplier performance data.
• Support cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and commercial negotiations.

Required Qualifications

• Good Knowledge on Computers with Advance Excel / Power Point Presentation/ Word
• Good Comunication skill
• Experience in pharmaceutical packing material procurement, preferably in an OSD manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging materials and vendor management.
• Understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical procurement processes.
• Proficiency in ERP system.
