Packaging Engineer

Job Summary

Design and validate corrugated packaging solutions for automotive OEM clients. Work with CAD tools to develop custom crates, trays, and export packaging.

Responsibilities

• Design corrugated and wooden packaging using CAD/3D tools
• Conduct structural testing (BCT, ECT, drop tests) and document results
• Liaise with automotive clients (VW, Bajaj, MG) on packaging specifications
• Manage BOM and coordinate with production for prototype builds
• Ensure ISPM-15 and IATF 16949 compliance on all export packaging

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Packaging Technology
• 1-3 years experience in corrugated or wooden packaging design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of ISPM-15 phytosanitary standards is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
