Summary:

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt applications accordingly is a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal operation.
• Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and compliance requirements within SAP HCM.
• Experience in configuring payroll components, schemas, and rules to meet business needs.
• Ability to work with integration tools and APIs to connect SAP HCM Payroll with other systems.
• Familiarity with system release management and version control processes.
• Capability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to payroll processing and system configuration.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll.
• This position is based at our INDC1A - NON-STPI location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
