As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and performance of systems, and utilizing various tools and platforms to customize solutions. The engineer collaborates with stakeholders to align application features with organizational needs while maintaining compatibility and operational efficiency. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of the applications are essential to provide seamless user experiences and support business processes effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
• Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application enhancements.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll.
• Experience in configuring payroll processes and managing payroll-related data within SAP environments.
• Knowledge of integration techniques using standard tools and application programming interfaces to connect SAP HCM Payroll with other systems.
• Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionalities.
• Ability to analyze system performance and implement optimizations to maintain stability and efficiency.

• This position is based at the client onsite location within India.
