Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and performance of systems, and utilizing various tools and platforms to customize solutions. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain compatibility across systems while adapting features to align with organizational goals, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction throughout the application lifecycle.

Roles Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and compliance requirements within SAP HCM.
- Experience in configuring payroll components, wage types, and payroll schemas.
- Ability to troubleshoot payroll errors and resolve complex payroll issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integration of SAP HCM Payroll with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Knowledge of system upgrades, patches, and release management in a packaged application environment.
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll.
- This position is based at our HDC3C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
