Summary:

As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release processes, and maintaining system stability. The engineer works with various tools and platforms to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals while preserving system compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with different teams to address operational challenges and continuous improvement of application functionality are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base articles to support ongoing operations.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Experience with configuring and customizing SaaS applications to meet business needs.
• Familiarity with using APIs and low-code platforms for application integration and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application issues effectively.
• Ability to manage application releases and ensure smooth deployment processes.
