As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to tailor solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to coordinate efforts and address challenges is an integral part of daily activities, ensuring seamless application functionality and user satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka.
• Experience with event streaming and real-time data processing concepts.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and message queuing architectures.
• Familiarity with integration of packaged applications using APIs and middleware.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in a production environment.
• Knowledge of deployment and release management practices for SaaS platforms.
