Summary:

As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that maintain compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of the applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and project success.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka.
• Experience with event streaming platforms and real-time data processing.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and message queuing concepts.
• Familiarity with integration of packaged applications using APIs and middleware.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in a cloud or SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of automation and deployment tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
