Summary:

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and optimize application functionality is also a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective application configurations.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
• Document processes and configurations to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Assist junior team members in understanding application functionalities and best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apache Spark.
• Strong knowledge of data integration and processing techniques relevant to packaged applications.
• Experience working with APIs and low-code platforms to customize and extend application capabilities.
• Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with release management processes and version control systems.
• Good problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

• The candidate should have minimum 4-5 years of experience in Ab Initio.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
