Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based software solutions. This includes managing the configuration settings, overseeing system integrations, and coordinating software releases to ensure seamless deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive the evolution of the software platform is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring the solution remains robust and scalable.

- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and delivery.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals with organizational strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering processes and platform capabilities.

Professional Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize application performance.
- Experience in managing software release cycles and version control systems.
Knowledge of multithreading, solid principles and annotations is a must
Must Have:
Java (Core)
Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring DAO including Spring JDBC and Spring ORM)
Hibernate
REST API development
Java Design Patterns
Microservices architecture
React.js (for full-stack or integration tasks)

Nice to Have:
Docker Kubernetes (containerization and orchestration)
Azure Cloud Services
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
Database experience: PostgreSQL, Oracle
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Pune Client''s Kharadi office with RTO 3 days
- A 15 years full time education is required.
