P2P Analyst/ Senior Analyst - UK , EMEA , Americas, Asia Region

Role & responsibilities

The P2P Analyst [UK I EMEA I Americas I Asia] Region will work as part of the P2P Pillar team and ensure delivery of the following key activities:

P2P Process Centre of Excellence Set Up

• Participate in activities to transition P2P activity to the Centre of Excellence from the [UK I EMEA IAmericas I Asia] Region.
• Support during the post transition Hypercare period to ensure any issues around service delivery are identified and quickly remediated.

P2P Process Service Delivery

• Deliver activities of the P2P [UK I EMEA I Americas I Asia] Region team according to agreed standards, including:
• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring accurate coding and required approvals
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents, resolving discrepancies promptly
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Respond to more complex vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to Accounts Payable
• Collaborate with other departments, including the Payments Specialist team to ensure smooth workflow, efficient issue and query resolution
• Support the training and development of P2P Analysts
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Working with the Group Financial Controlling and other KWS Finance Teams

• Take part in activities with the Regional Controllers team to build the Centre of Excellence teams understanding of key business drivers, resolve issues and jointly develop opportunities for process improvement
• Work with the Group Finance team, including Tax, Treasury and Finance Systems to leverage existing know-how, process and systems
• Work as valued member of the Finance team, helping to shape, advocate for and deliver our Finance Excellence vision to be trusted business partners that champion growth, create value and manage risk

Controlling Projects and Initiatives

• Support in projects sponsored by HQ Controlling to drive P2P process growth and performance improvement, including process standardization initiatives and systems implementation

Finance Team Management and Collaboration

• Participate in activities to help support the development of the Global Finance Centre of Excellence

Preferred candidate profile

This is an intermediate level role in the organization that requires a capable Senior Finance Analyst with experience in the P2P process and a developing understanding of accounting principles and Finance Controlling processes. The role is expected to perform daily tasks without undue supervision. To be successful in the role it is expected that you will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3 - 4 years experience working as P2P Senior Analyst / Analyst within a Global Finance function
• Solid understanding of P2P process, controls and related accounting policies
• Been involved in the transition of activities to a captive Centre of Excellence
• Able to identify and resolve issues
• Good attention to detail
• Interest in participating in P2P process and systems change and ensuring the adoption of new ways of working
• Good communication skills and ability to maintain successful relations with Finance and non-Finance team members
• Natural collaborative and inclusive approach to working with team members and colleagues
