P&C Underwriter Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough analysis of insurance applications to determine risk levels and make informed underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective underwriting guidelines and procedures.
• Review and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations impacting policy premiums.
• Provide expert advice on property-casualty insurance products, including coverage options, limits, and deductibles.
• Analyze large datasets to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Job Requirements :

• Strong understanding of P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance principles, policies, and regulations.
• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets using statistical software such as Excel or SQL.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to provide clear and concise advice to stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies used in underwriting and risk management.
