About this role
OTC Tools and Reporting Analyst Description - Job Summary This role is responsible for performing analytics and identifying issues in supply chain processes by leveraging data management, automation tools, and business intelligence solutions. The position applies knowledge of supply chain processes (including Order Management and testing cycles) to track performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the role contributes to the development of dashboards, reporting solutions, and process automation, enabling operational visibility and continuous improvement. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a key support resource for analytics, reporting, and automation initiatives, acting as a backup for critical reporting and automation activities (e.g., Power BI solutions).
Responsibilities • Performs analytics by leveraging structured data sources, identifying root causes of issues using supply chain knowledge and data insights. • Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI dashboards and reports to track supply chain, Order Management, and testing metrics. • Supports the automation of operational processes using tools such as Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual work. • Tracks supply chain and testing metrics (e.g., defects, execution progress, cycle time) and reports actionable insights to stakeholders. • Identifies inefficiencies and bottlenecks across Order-to-Cash and testing processes and proposes data-driven improvements. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Testing, Program Management) to ensure alignment of reporting and data sources. • Supports testing activities by analyzing results, tracking issues, and providing visibility through dashboards and reports. • Acts as a backup owner for reporting and automation solutions , ensuring continuity of key tools and deliverables. • Supports senior team members in building data models and analysis used for strategic supply chain decisions. • Contributes to projects or cross-functional initiatives with a focus on data, reporting, and process optimization. • Maintains documentation for dashboards, data flows, and automation processes. • Conducts research on emerging tools and best practices in data analytics, reporting, and automation.
Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration, IT, or related field. • Typically 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, data analytics, business intelligence, testing, or related areas. • Experience working with data, reporting tools, or process automation is highly desirable.
Preferred Certifications • Power BI Certification (preferred) • Data Analytics, Automation, or Supply Chain certifications (nice to have)
Knowledge & Skills • Data Analysis & Data Management • Power BI (data modeling, visualization, dashboard design) • Power Automate / Process Automation • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, data manipulation) • Basic SQL or data querying (nice to have) • Understanding of Order Management (OTC) processes • Familiarity with testing methodologies (SIT/UAT, defect tracking, tools like JIRA/TestRail) • Process improvement mindset • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to translate data into business insights
