Order Management Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end order management process from order receipt to fulfilment and closure.
• Review and validate customer orders, pricing, product details, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Enter and maintain sales orders accurately in ERP/CRM systems.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams.
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery as per customer requirements.
• Handle order changes, cancellations, returns, backorders, and delivery issues.
• Monitor order backlog and proactively resolve order-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain order reports, trackers, and MIS.
• Coordinate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Support order-to-cash (O2C) activities including invoicing and shipment coordination.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and agreed SLA/TAT.
• Identify process gaps and contribute to improving order processing efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience in Order Management / Order Processing / Sales Operations / Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Good understanding of the Order-to-Cash lifecycle.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or similar tools.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare MIS reports.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
