Role: Oracle Reporting & Power BI Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Reporting & Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, Oracle data models, SQL and enterprise reporting.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Oracle data and developing business reports and dashboards using Power BI. Experience with Oracle Fusion, OTBI, BI Publisher or Oracle Analytics will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports and analytical solutions.
• Work extensively with Oracle data models and Oracle source systems.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Extract, transform and analyze data from Oracle and other enterprise data sources.
• Develop Power BI reports using appropriate data models and semantic models.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns and analytical logic.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and data validation.
• Validate Power BI reporting outputs against underlying Oracle source data.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand KPIs, reporting requirements and data definitions.
• Partner with data and technology teams to develop scalable reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies, report defects and performance issues.
• Support report testing, deployment and production releases.
• Apply Power BI best practices around performance, usability, security and governance.
• Maintain technical documentation and reporting specifications.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requirements across business functions.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in BI / Reporting / Data Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong understanding of Oracle data models / Oracle databases.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of DAX.
• Experience with data modeling and semantic models.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Strong data validation and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working with Finance, Accounting or ERP datasets.
• Experience in retail, restaurant, consumer or similar industries.

Important: Candidates must be comfortable working onsite from the Hyderabad office.
