Oracle Lease account Consultant

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Oracle Lease account Consultant. The position will primarily be for implementing Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting solutions to support ASC 842 / IFRS 16 compliance, lease lifecycle management, accounting automation, and reporting based on customer's requirements. The selected candidate be able to drive the CRP sessions, Data Conversion Workshops, Data Configuration, Fit-Gap analysis for requirements, Design Solution, perform SIT, support UAT and troubleshoot the functional issues during Cutover Hypercare on the SaaS applications. Interact with customer process owners and SMEs to understand and analyze various processes.

Roles Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver under strict timelines. Good communication and customer-facing skills


• Lead requirement gathering and solution design for lease accounting processes.


• Configure Lease Accounting Cloud including:


• Lease Creation and Amendments


• Lease Activation and Termination


• Rent Escalations


• Variable Lease Payments


• Short-Term and Long-Term Lease Classification


• Subleases


• Configure lease accounting treatments including:


• Right-of-Use (ROU) Assets


• Lease Liability Calculations


• Amortization Schedules


• Interest Accruals


• Support migration of lease data from legacy systems and third-party lease applications.


• Design integrations with AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.


• Prepare accounting and disclosure reports for compliance requirements.


• Conduct testing, reconciliation, training, and go-live support activities.


• Support audit requests and lease accounting governance processes.

Technical Requirement

• 5+ years of Oracle Financials experience with at least 1-2 Lease Accounting cloud end-end implementations.


• Strong knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16.


• Experience with lease lifecycle management and lease accounting processes.


• Understanding of AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Subledger Accounting.


• Good awareness of the available Out-of-the-box (OOTB) integrations in Oracle Lease accounting.


• Thorough understanding of upstream process flows with which lease accounting has integration.
