Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Processing & Operations: Manage end-to-end payroll cycles, validate input data, and oversee salary, bonus, and deduction calculations.
• Compliance & Statutory Filing: Apply local tax rules, labor laws, and file periodic returns (such as PF, PT, and TDS in India).
• System Advisory & Implementation: Configure, test, and optimize payroll software platforms like SAP, Workday, or Dayforce.
• Audit & Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll accounts with general ledgers and resolve payment errors or discrepancies.
• Stakeholder Support: Answer employee and client queries regarding paychecks, taxes, and benefits

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience:  5+ years of hands-on payroll processing, management, or system implementation experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and specialized payroll/HRIS software (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP).
• Knowledge: Strong grasp of statutory compliances, tax withholdings, and compensation structures.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and clear communication.
