Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant - Core HR, Payroll, ORC

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Core HR, Oracle Payroll, and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC). The candidate should have hands-on experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support across multiple Oracle Fusion HCM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementations.
• Conduct business workshops and gather client requirements.
• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Core HR, Payroll, and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) modules.
• Prepare functional design documents, setup documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
• Configure enterprise structures, legal entities, business units, positions, jobs, grades, and workforce structures.
• Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, payroll processing, costing, and statutory requirements.
• Configure recruitment lifecycle including requisitions, candidate experience, offer management, and onboarding processes.
• Support data migration activities and validate migrated data.
• Perform SIT, UAT testing and support defect resolution.
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, reports, and extensions.
• Provide production support and recommend process improvements.
• Mentor junior consultants and support pre-sales activities as required.

Functional Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Oracle Fusion Core HR
• Oracle Fusion Payroll
• Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion HCM implementations.
• Experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes.
• Knowledge of Payroll Fast Formula and HDL/HSDL processes.
• Experience with security configuration and role-based access controls.
• Exposure to Absence Management and Benefits will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, HR, or related field.
• Oracle Fusion HCM certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong client-facing and consulting experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in global implementation projects preferred.
