Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant-Core HR, Absence Management

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Talent Management and Compensation. The role focuses on configuring and supporting Performance Management, Goals, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Workforce Compensation, and Benefits to support organizational talent and reward strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure performance templates, review sections, rating models, and review periods.
• Manage goal plans, goal libraries, weightages, and validation rules.
• Support goal uploads, mass updates, and data migration activities.
• Troubleshoot evaluation visibility, ratings, and eligibility issues.
• Configure talent review meetings, talent review boxes, and performance/potential matrices.
• Support talent pools, succession plans, and Profile Management.
• Support talent analytics and dashboards for workforce planning.
• Configure annual compensation cycles, including Merit, Bonus, and allowances.
• Set up eligibility rules, budgets, allocation methods, compensation plans, and worksheet formulas.
• Configure worksheet security, manager hierarchies, approval workflows, and compensation statements.
• Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for compensation calculations and eligibility logic.
• Configure and support Benefits plans, eligibility rules, and related business processes.
• Troubleshoot worksheet validations, publishing errors, and compensation issues.
• Conduct requirement workshops with HR, Talent & Compensation teams, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user guidelines.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, audit validations, and post-deployment stabilization.
• Collaborate with technical teams on BI reports, integrations, and functional enhancements.

Role Requirements and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Talent Management and Compensation.
• Strong experience with Merit, Bonus, Performance Management, and Goals.
• Expertise in Workforce Compensation configuration, including eligibility rules, budgets, allocation methods, worksheets, manager hierarchies, and approvals.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fast Formula, particularly for compensation calculations and eligibility logic.
• Experience managing annual compensation and performance cycles end to end.
• Practical experience with Talent Review, Profile Management, and Succession Planning.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits configuration and support.
• Experience working with technical teams on BI reports and integrations.
• Strong understanding of functional testing, UAT, production deployment, and audit requirements.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Experience in annual merit planning, bonus planning, and performance appraisal processes.
• Knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and Oracle HCM integrations.
• Experience with talent analytics, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Oracle Fusion HCM certifications are an added advantage.
