Job Description - Oracle Forms Technical Specialist – Legacy Application Analysis & AI-Driven Modernization

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Forms Technical Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in legacy Oracle Forms applications, Oracle database technologies, and application architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience working with different generations of Oracle Forms, including Forms 4.x and subsequent versions, and possess a thorough understanding of Forms development, deployment, installation, configuration, client-server architecture, middleware, backend database connectivity, WebUtil, PL/SQL libraries, and related Oracle technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle Forms applications for various clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members on Oracle Forms development best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Forms installation, configuration, and performance optimization.
• Strong hands-on Oracle Forms development and maintenance experience.
• Experience with Oracle Forms versions starting from 4.x and subsequent releases.
  
• Expertise in legacy source code analysis and reverse engineering.

• Knowledge of Oracle Forms installation, configuration, compilation, runtime, and deployment.
  
• Understanding of client-server architecture, Forms Services, middleware, and backend database connectivity.
  
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database object knowledge.
• Knowledge of WebUtil, client-side integration, and PL/SQL libraries.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, dependency analysis, and technical documentation skills.
