Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

What you'll do

• Design solutions that fit the business. Study business models, process flows and user requirements, then design Oracle ERP solutions that meet them.
• Deliver projects end to end using Oracle AIM. Take part in requirement analysis, solution design, build, testing and deployment.
• Own high-quality deliverables. These include setup documents (BR100), functional specifications (MD050), test plans, test scenarios and scripts, issue logs, data conversion specifications and data verification results.
• Lead testing. Prepare test plans and scenarios, help users write test scripts, and support SIT and UAT through to sign-off.
• Support the business day to day. Investigate incidents users raise in Oracle Finance, find the root cause and resolve them.
• Ensure quality. Review project deliverables against IT internal standards.
• Drive improvement. Proactively look for better Oracle techniques, methodologies, automation and ways of delivering.

What you'll bring

Must-have

• 4-8 years of Oracle EBS implementation experience on R12.2. Experience on R12.2.10 is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementation in India, including Oracle India Localization (OFI) and integration with ClearTax or Similar third party. This is mandatory. It should include:

Setting up GST: regimes, tax rates, tax categories, first-party and third-party registrations, and item classification (HSN/SAC)

– Setting up and processing TDS and TCS, including threshold setups, TDS certificates and returns

– GST and TDS processing in India Local Payables and Receivables, plus India-specific reports

– Experience with GST e-Invoicing and e-Way Bill integration

– Integrating Oracle EBS with ClearTax for GST e-Invoicing (IRN/QR code), e-Way Bill, GST return filing and reconciliation
