Role: Oracle Fusion Financials – Fixed Assets AMS Support

Role Description

An Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets Associate responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets within a Managed Services environment. The role requires functional understanding of the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including asset additions, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, adjustments, retirements, and accounting integration. The candidate will work with Finance stakeholders and senior functional consultants to resolve production issues, execute configuration changes, support period-close activities, and maintain system stability.

Level: Professional, independently resolve routine functional incidents, support assigned service requests, perform configuration validation, testing, documentation, and escalate complex issues to senior team members while ensuring compliance with established support processes and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support: Provide L1/L2 functional support for Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets, investigating and resolving incidents, application errors, and service requests.

Asset Lifecycle Support: Troubleshoot asset additions, mass additions, adjustments, transfers, retirements, reinstatements, capitalization, and depreciation calculation issues.

Asset Configuration: Support maintenance of Asset Books, Asset Categories, Depreciation Methods, Prorate Conventions, Asset Calendars, and Asset Key Flexfields.

Period Close Support: Assist with depreciation runs, accounting creation, period close, and reconciliation of Fixed Assets with General Ledger.

Integration Support: Resolve issues related to asset mass additions from Oracle Payables, asset accounting, and GL integration.

Data Management: Support asset data correction, FBDI uploads, data validation, and reconciliation activities.

Incident Management: Perform initial troubleshooting, prepare incident analysis, document resolutions, and escalate complex defects where required.

Testing & Maintenance: Support configuration changes, regression testing, Oracle quarterly update validation, and post-deployment verification.

Reporting Support: Assist in resolving OTBI, BI Publisher, and standard Fixed Assets reporting issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: Oracle Financials experience, preferably with hands-on Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets support.
• Functional Expertise: Understanding of Fixed Assets lifecycle, depreciation, capitalization, CIP, asset transfers, asset retirement, and asset accounting.
• Configuration Knowledge: Familiarity with Asset Books, Asset Categories, Depreciation Methods, Asset Calendars, and Prorate Conventions.
• Integration Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle Payables, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets integration.
• Technical Exposure: Working knowledge of FBDI, ESS Jobs, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle FSM.
• Support Skills: Experience handling support tickets, functional troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and incident escalation.
