Oracle Developer

Job Description:

ITC Infotech India Ltd is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle database applications. This includes writing complex SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and ensuring the performance and reliability of database systems. The Oracle Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop database solutions using Oracle technologies.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain database security, integrity, and performance.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong experience in Oracle Database development and administration.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and complex SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with Oracle Database tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Understanding of database design principles and best practices.
- Experience with data modeling and database architecture.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques for Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
