Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA)

Location: Kolkata
Experience: 8-12 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases.
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes using RMAN.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations.
• Ensure database security, availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Support Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
• Work with application and infrastructure teams for database deployments and migrations.
• Create and maintain database documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c or higher).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in backup, recovery, cloning, and migration activities.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
