Oracle DBA

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage Oracle databases for high availability and performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot RAC environments to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies using tools like RMAN and Golden Gate.
• Perform database migrations from one version to another, such as 10g to 11g and 11i to 12c.
• Implement data replication solutions using Dataguard for disaster recovery purposes.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schema for efficient query execution.

Job Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA. 
• Solid experience with Oracle 12c/19c or higher versions, including exposure to Oracle RAC.
• Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning to achieve optimal database performance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS services like EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery techniques using RMAN and Golden Gate.
• Experience with database migration strategies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of database administration principles and best practices.
