Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments.
• Manage Oracle databases in development, testing, and production environments.
• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Configure and manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM environments.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Perform database migrations, patching, and upgrades.
• Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Manage user access, roles, privileges, and database security compliance.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide production support.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Automate routine DBA activities using Shell Scripting and PL/SQL.
• Work closely with application teams, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Create and maintain database documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
