About this role
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle databases.
- Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN backup and recovery.
- Handle database security, users, roles, privileges, and access control.
- Perform database backup, restore, and disaster-recovery activities.
- Monitor database space, CPU, memory, sessions, and SQL performance.
- Troubleshoot database incidents and production issues.
- Perform database migrations, upgrades, and refreshes.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
- Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and DR plans.
- Support high availability and 247 production environments.
Required Skills:
- Strong Oracle Database administration experience.
- Oracle 12c/18c/19c/21c knowledge.
- RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, ASM.
- SQL and PL/SQL.
- Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Knowledge of ITIL/incident and change-management processes.
