Job Summary

Position Name: Oracle Banking Technical Consultant - Implementation. Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Chennai/Pune. Experience: 4-8 years.

Role Summary

Responsible for implementing and supporting Oracle Banking products, with a focus on technical deployments, troubleshooting, and migration activities. Works across Core Banking, CASA, OBIC, Corporate Deposits, and related modules.

Responsibilities

• Deploy patchsets and hotfixes across implementation and support environments
• Support End-of-Day (EOD) processing, troubleshoot EOD issues, and resolve EOD aborts
• Perform migration activities, including data uploads and post-migration reconciliation
• Develop stubs and scripts for data patches, reconciliation, temporary fixes, and EOD issue resolution
• Deploy applications and updates on the Tomcat application server
• Analyze and tune Oracle database performance to support application processing

Must-Haves

• Hands-on experience with ODT technology stack, including RAD and PL/SQL
• Experience with Gateway (Webservices/Rest) and Generic Ascii Interface
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and database performance tuning
• Working knowledge of Java
• Experience with patchset and hotfix deployments, EOD troubleshooting, migration utilities, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with application deployments on Tomcat
• Implementation experience in Core Banking, CASA, OBIC, and Corporate Deposits

Nice to Have

• Technical knowledge of Oracle Banking Party (OB Party) and Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM)
• Familiarity with Oracle Banking version 14.6 and above
• Onsite implementation or support experience at customer locations
