Job Title : Oracle APEX Developer

Experience: 6-8 Years
Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX.
• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and collections.
• Create and consume REST Web Services, handle JSON/XML data processing.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces using Interactive Grids, Reports, Charts, Dynamic Actions, and Validations.
• Troubleshoot and debug Oracle APEX application issues.
• Implement Authentication, Authorization, AJAX Processes, and Application Items in APEX.
• Enhance application UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APEX JavaScript APIs.
• Perform query tuning and application performance optimization using Explain Plans and database best practices.
• Work with source code management tools and follow development standards.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Oracle APEX Development.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL including Packages, Functions, Procedures, Collections, BULK COLLECT, and advanced PL/SQL concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and XML processing.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Database 19c or higher.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application development.
• Experience working with Interactive Grids, Apex Collections, Charts, Dynamic Actions, and Validations.
• Knowledge of Authentication & Authorization mechanisms in Oracle APEX.
• Experience in application performance tuning and SQL optimization.
• Basic knowledge of ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services).
• Knowledge of Linux administration and software installation is an added advantage
