About this role
We are looking for Oracle AI Agent Studio Engineers with 2-4 years of experience with Oracle Fusion and demonstrable hands-on work with large language models or agent tooling. You will build and configure AI agents natively in Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio, working alongside functional leads who own the process design.
This is an emerging skill, so we are looking for strong Fusion fundamentals and genuine build experience with LLMs, rather than years of Agent Studio specifically. You will be deployed on an Oracle Fusion engagement for a quick service restaurant (QSR) client in the Middle East, building agents across procurement, supply chain, and finance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Configure agents, agent teams, and topics in Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio against process designs supplied by the functional leads.
- Write and iterate on agent instructions, prompts, and guardrails, and tune them against evaluation sets.
- Configure retrieval over approved documents and knowledge sources.
- Build the agent tool layer: Fusion business object and REST API tools, document tools, and integrations exposed through Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Register and configure external tools, including through Model Context Protocol (MCP), where approved.
- Handle tool errors, timeouts, and fallbacks so agent behavior stays predictable.
- Configure agent access and least-privilege tool permissions.
- Apply human-in-the-loop approval steps for actions that post, pay, or change master data.
- Build and run evaluation sets and test scenarios on every change, including prompt-injection scenarios.
- Work with functional leads to validate agent output against business rules before UAT.
- Support promotion of agent configuration across environments and produce design notes, prompt and tool catalogues, test evidence, and runbooks.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years on Oracle Fusion, with working knowledge of at least one pillar: SCM, Procurement, Financials, or HCM.
- At least one Oracle Fusion implementation or support engagement.
- Hands-on experience with Fusion REST APIs, JSON payloads, authentication, and tools such as Postman.
- Understanding of roles, privileges, and data access in Oracle Fusion.
- Practical experience building with LLMs, prompts, RAG, or agent frameworks, shown through project work, PoCs, or a portfolio.
- Hands-on LLM or agent build experience is non-negotiable. Candidates must have built something real, not just classroom or certification exposure.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to work directly with client business users.
- Comfortable building test scenarios and evaluating non-deterministic output.
Good to have:
- Hands-on Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio or Oracle AI agent delivery.
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or Agent2Agent (A2A).
- OCI Generative AI services, including RAG setup.
- PL/SQL, Python, or JavaScript.
- Oracle AI or OCI Generative AI certification.
- Experience at an Oracle SI/implementation partner or IT consulting firm
