ITM Institute of Health Sciences is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Professor for Optometry to join our faculty team. Freshers with a Masters degree in Optometry are welcome to apply.

Job Details:

• Working Days: 6 days a week (2nd & 4th Saturday and all Sundays off)
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Location: New Panvel, Maharashtra

Required Candidate Profile:

• Masters Degree in Optometry
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Positive attitude and a strong desire to teach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:
As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for:

• Teaching and mentoring M. Optometry students
• Preparing and delivering lectures, conducting research
• Evaluating and assessing student work
• Encouraging personal development through tutorial or pastoral support
• Invigilating exams and attending staff meetings
• Engaging in general administration tasks
• Writing research proposals, papers, and publications
• Supervising PhD students and research staff
• Attending and presenting at conferences/seminars
• Preparing bids for departmental research funding
• Any other tasks as assigned by the department
