Optometrist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Dispense glasses, contact lenses, or other optical products based on prescriptions.
  
• Perform refractions to determine the correct prescription for each patient's eyes.
  
• Provide patients with information about their diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare instructions.
  
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including exam results and prescription data.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-4 years of experience as an optometrist in a hospital setting (ophthalmology department).
  
• Diploma or B.Sc degree in Optometry.
  
• Strong knowledge of optics, ophthalmology, retina, refraction, and optical sales principles.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
