Urgent Hiring - Optometrist & Ophthalmologist

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Project: Eye Screening Camps
Duty: Twice a Week (2 Days per Week)

1. Optometrist

Experience: 3-4 Years

Qualification:

- B.Optom / M.Optom or Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration, where applicable.
- Experience in clinical or community eye care.

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct vision screening and refraction tests.
- Prescribe spectacles as per clinical protocols.
- Perform preliminary eye examinations and identify common eye conditions.
- Refer patients requiring specialist care to the Ophthalmologist.
- Maintain patient records and screening data.
- Participate in eye camps and community awareness activities.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidate must be a Mumbai resident.

2. Ophthalmologist

Experience: 4-5 Years of Post-Qualification Experience

Qualification:

- MBBS with MS / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology.
- Valid registration with Maharashtra Medical Council or NMC.

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose eye conditions.
- Recommend treatment, surgery and follow-up care.
- Provide clinical guidance to the Optometrist and field team.
- Participate in eye screening camps and community eye care activities.
- Maintain clinical records and ensure quality patient care.
- Coordinate with referral hospitals when required.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidate must be a Mumbai resident.

Duty & Work Schedule

- Camp Duty: Twice a week (2 days per week).
- Candidates should be comfortable working at field locations and conducting eye screening camps.
