Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams to diagnose vision problems and prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as needed.
  
• Dispense glasses, contact lenses, or other optical products based on patient prescriptions.
  
• Perform refractions to determine the correct lens power for each patient's eyes.
  
• Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including test results and treatment plans.
  
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists when complex cases require specialized care.
