Role Overview:

We're looking for an innovative team player with a passion for vision care. Performing comprehensive eye tests will be your forte! Our Optometrist will be joining us in delivering our promise of quality eye care for everyone. We offer free comprehensive eye tests for everyone without any conditions across our stores in Manchester.We are actively looking for talented Optometrist from India who are willing to relocate to work from our Bury HQ in the UK. Specscart will support selected candidates throughout the migration process, including guidance for required examinations, documentation, visa sponsorship, and other relocation formalities.You must be well-presented, warm, and welcoming, with the ability to build strong rapport with customers. Your passion for delivering quality clinical eye care and enthusiasm for optics will make you the ideal fit for our growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Providing outstanding clinical eye care services, from eye tests to enhanced services and patient advice.
• Working closely with the Store/Clinic Manager to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Taking responsibility for inspiring, supporting, and coaching colleagues.
• Understanding Specscart products and assisting customers with suitable recommendations.
• Delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining high professional standards.
• Ensuring compliance with UK optical and clinical regulations.
• Supporting the business in maintaining a positive and customer-focused environment.

Requirements for the Ideal Match:

• Bachelors Degree in Optometry (B.Optom) or equivalent qualification.
• Must be legally qualified to practice Optometry in India.
• Should have at least 1 year of experience working as a practicing Optometrist in India.
• Should be registered with the Optometry Confederation of India (formerly Optometry Council of India).
• Candidates should be eligible or willing to become registered with the General Optical Council (GOC), UK.
• Willingness to relocate and work in the United Kingdom.
• Candidates must be open to appearing for required UK registration examinations and English language proficiency tests such as IELTS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
