Optimizely Content Marketing Platform (CMP)

Job Summary The role is required to enable the Marketing Management project to complete the Optimizely adoption.The role required has specialist knowledge of the Optimizely Content Management Platform (CMP) and is critical to the successful delivery of the project.

• Design and configure CMP to fulfil user requirements including the creation/amendment of workflows as required
• Support with maximising adherence to Optimizely CMP best practice and provide guidance/recommendations on approaches where an out of the box solution is not available
• Develop config solution options and provide recommendations to Product Owner
• Provide quality assurance/recommendations on current production CMP processes/configuration
• Support with CMP knowledge transfer to RLG colleagues

Optimizely Content Marketing Platform (CMP) 2–4 years (mandatory hands-on implementation & workflow configuration)

Campaign Management, Workflow Configuration, Editorial Planning Strong expertise – minimum 4/5 (at least 2 areas)

REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks 4/5 rating (must handle integrations independently)

JavaScript / Node.js / Python 3–4/5 rating (at least one language strong)

• NET / .NET Core (Optimizely CMS integration) 3/5 (required if working in Optimizely DXP stack)

Integration Experience (CMS, CRM – Salesforce/Dynamics, DAM, Marketing Tools) Strong experience – must have implemented integrations end-to-end

Content Lifecycle, Approval Workflows, RBAC Strong knowledge with real project exposure

Cloud & SaaS Platforms (Azure Preferred) Working to strong knowledge (deployment & integrations)

Data Modeling, Taxonomy & Metadata Management Working knowledge (should have implemented tagging strategies)

Analytics & Reporting (Google Analytics, Power BI, CMP dashboards) Working knowledge (campaign performance tracking)

DevOps – Git, CI/CD, Environment Management Working knowledge (should support deployments)

Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Jira/Azure DevOps Strong working knowledge (active participation in sprints)

Testing – API testing (Postman), UAT & defect handling Working knowledge (should handle testing independently)

Publishing Integration (Optimizely CMS / Headless CMS concepts) Good to have (important for enterprise implementations)

Security – OAuth, API authentication, access control Working knowledge

Design experience, Development experience, Deployment activities & Marketing tool integrations Must have practical experience across at least 2 areas
