Manager Finance

Location: Bangalore
Work Schedule: 45 Hours per Week
Work Mode: Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Manager Finance to lead technical accounting, direct taxation, financial reporting, and controllership activities. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, auditors, tax consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance, robust controls, and accurate financial reporting while driving process improvements and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and financial audits.
• Manage direct taxation activities, including tax computations, advance tax, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen the organization's control framework and risk management processes.
• Partner with FP&A, business teams, auditors, and external consultants.
• Drive automation, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives within finance.
• Lead and mentor finance team members while managing stakeholder relationships.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5-15 years of post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or Financial Reporting.
• Experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, Assistant Financial Controller, BU Controller, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP / IFRS / Ind AS, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience in month-end close, audits, financial statement preparation, and compliance.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
