Position Summary

We are searching for Operator Production who will work according to the production planning to meet customer demands.

THE ROLE

This role is responsible for production and ensuring to achieve safety, productivity, and on-time performance goals on his machine. In addition this role would have to liaise with multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

The responsibilities of the role are to perform the production activities and implement the required action plan, ensure safety during the work to support efforts to achieve on zero safety issues.

The operator production responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

Maximum 3 pointers per accountability

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)

• Setup of machine i.e. cleaning, shorting out unwanted & updating of daily machine check sheet before starting of production.
• Execution & achieving of target according to plan provided by supervisor & filling of production detail in sheet.
• Follow up of SOP 100% during production to control the process.
  
  

Accountability #2: Process / Performance

• Checking & inspection of material with precision tools.
• Troubleshooting of issues that might arise during production.
• Keeping records of production output sheet, machine setup approval, SPC sheets & daily machine check sheet.
  
  

Accountability #3: People

• Updating Shift Logbook on daily Basis.
• Maintaining daily production activity in log book for daily communication.
• Closure of Production and Quality issues points

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent reports to Manager Production & operate in individual contributor capacity.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

This person must have at least 2 years hands on experience of production in similar type of industries.

• Diploma in Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in similar type of industries.
  
  

Required Skills

• Sound knowledge of Standard Work Procedure in Manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of different tools of Production Process and Quality Concepts.
• Working knowledge of Hose Manufacturing Process.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including international travel.
