Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with strong knowledge of blood sample collection, phlebotomy, and diagnostic laboratory operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating phlebotomists, ensuring timely sample collection, maintaining quality standards, and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for home sample collection and diagnostic services.
• Supervise and coordinate phlebotomists and field collection staff.
• Ensure proper blood sample collection, labeling, handling, storage, and transportation.
• Monitor sample pickup schedules, TAT (Turnaround Time), and timely delivery to laboratories.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, biosafety, and sample-handling protocols.
• Handle patient complaints, operational issues, and service escalations.
• Coordinate with laboratories, customer support, and other departments.
• Track daily performance, attendance, productivity, and operational reports.
• Ensure adequate staffing and optimize operational costs.
• Maintain service quality, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of phlebotomy and blood sample collection procedures.
• Experience in healthcare operations or diagnostic laboratory management.
• Team handling, staff scheduling, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of sample logistics, quality control, and TAT management.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and operational management systems.

Preferred Candidate: A proactive professional with hands-on knowledge of phlebotomy and the ability to manage healthcare operations efficiently.
