We are seeking a highly driven Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end lending operations for our digital lending business. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing high-volume loan operations, process optimization, vendor coordination, and customer lifecycle management within a Fintech (Payday Loans/Salary Advance), NBFC, or Lending Service Provider (LSP) environment.

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Lending Operations
- Oversee the complete loan lifecycle from initial application through to final loan closure.
- Ensure seamless execution of KYC verification, underwriting support, loan disbursements, repayment tracking, and customer servicing.
- Actively monitor operational SLAs and work continuously to reduce turnaround times (TAT).
2. Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify operational bottlenecks and lead automation initiatives to drive scale.
- Formulate, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational workflows.
- Enhance overall team productivity through continuous process optimizations.
3. Vendor Management
- Coordinate and maintain operational relationships with KYC providers, credit bureau partners, payment gateways, collection agencies, and tech vendors.
- Monitor vendor SLAs, performance metrics, and service quality compliance.
4. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI Digital Lending Guidelines and internal risk policy framework.
- Conduct regular operational audits and quality assurance checks.
- Maintain clear, complete, and audit-ready operational documentation.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team.
- Define individual/team KPIs and closely track operational output.
- Plan and conduct regular training and upskilling sessions for the team.
6. MIS & Reporting
- Design and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and real-time metrics.
- Analyze operational data to draw actionable insights and recommend proactive improvements.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Credit, Collections, Product, Technology, Finance, and Customer Support teams to deliver a frictionless user experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Overall Experience: 5–8 years of overall lending operations experience.
- Domain Experience: Minimum 3 years specifically in digital lending operations.
- Mandatory Product Experience: Proven hands-on experience with Payday Loans, Salary Advance, or Small Ticket Personal Loans (STPL).
- Mandatory Entity Experience: Prior experience in an NBFC, Fintech, or LSP is mandatory.
