Job Description: Operations Manager

Location: Wadala East, Truck Terminal, Mumbai
Experience: 2 - 6 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics and transportation operations.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, customers, and distributors to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
  
• Handle transportation management, including vehicle and driver coordination.
  
• Conduct rate negotiations with transporters and vendors.
  
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance.
  
• Prepare reports related to delivery timelines, transportation costs, and overall operational performance.
  
• Coordinate maintenance and repair requirements for transportation vehicles and equipment.
  
• Handle operational issues and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  

Requirements

• 2 - 6 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Operations.
  
• Strong knowledge of Transportation Management, Rate Negotiation, Driver Management, and Vendor Management.
  
• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Knowledge of any one of the following languages is preferred: Gujarati, Bengali, Telugu, or Punjabi.
