Job Overview:

• Position: Operations Manager
• Grade: Assistance Manager/Manager
• Location: Thane
• Reporting To: Assistant Vice President (AVP)
• Experience Level: 4 - 8 relevant years
• CTC- Up to Interview

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Lifecycle Management: Oversee end-to-end operational activities across all insurance products, including policy issuance, fund remittance, endorsements, cancellations, and timely renewals.

2. Data & premium reconciliation: Validate daily data files exchanged between internal loan systems and partner insurers to ensure 100% accuracy between collected premiums and booked policies.

3. Claims management: Coordinate with claimants, internal sales teams, and insurance partners to track claim statuses, manage complete documentation, and drive timely settlements within defined Turnaround Times (TATs).

4. Stakeholder Coordination & Escalations: Act as the primary operational bridge between internal teams (IT, Credit, Sales) and external insurance partners to resolve API integration issues, system bugs, and customer escalations.

5. Compliance, Audit & MIS: Maintain daily operational dashboards, track core KPIs, and ensure strict adherence to internal SOPs, internal audit frameworks, and IRDAI regulations.

6. Industry Expertise: Prior exposure to co-lending frameworks and buyout transaction workflows will be considered a significant advantage.

Required skills & qualifications:

1. Experience: 4 to 8 years in central insurance operations & loan servicing.

2. Technical & software proficiency: Advanced MS Excel capabilities (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data reconciliation) and familiarity with core lending platforms and insurance partner portals.

3. Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IRDAI regulations, insurance policy servicing workflows, and claim-settlement mechanisms.

4. Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong analytical skills to resolve file/API discrepancies quickly.
