Operations Manager Luxury Interiors & E Commerce

Role & responsibilities

Vendor & Supply Chain Management

• Manage direct communication and coordination with vendors, manufacturers, carpenters, contractors, and artisans.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production timelines and ensure timely availability of products.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and proactively resolve supply-related issues.

Quality Control & Site Management

• Oversee quality control at vendor facilities and interior project sites.
• Coordinate installations, carpenters, contractors, and site execution.
• Identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are executed according to required quality and timelines.

Showroom & Retail Operations

• Manage day-to-day operations of TBA showroom(s).
• Ensure stock availability, visual merchandising, operational standards, and customer experience.
• Coordinate movement of inventory between warehouse, showroom, and projects.

Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics

• Take ownership of warehouse operations, dispatches, and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate stock records across warehouse, showroom, and e-commerce channels.
• Coordinate domestic logistics and courier partners.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery while resolving logistics issues independently.

Order & Project Fulfilment

• Manage B2C and B2B orders from confirmation through final delivery.
• Track production and delivery timelines for custom furniture and interior projects.
• Coordinate site readiness and ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure timely completion of orders and projects as per agreed timelines.

Team Management & Process Improvement

• Lead warehouse, showroom, dispatch, and site teams.
• Define responsibilities, monitor performance, and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement SOPs for supply chain, inventory, logistics, quality control, and showroom operations.
• Prepare and share weekly/monthly operational reports and KPIs with leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 57 years of relevant experience in Operations Management.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, furniture, interiors, lifestyle, or premium/luxury brands preferred.
• Strong experience in vendor management, logistics, inventory, warehouse, and site/project coordination.
• Good knowledge of ERP/inventory management systems and MS Excel.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, coordination, and people-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of operational activities.
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and execution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in luxury interiors, premium furniture, or lifestyle retail.
• Knowledge of Shopify/e-commerce operations.
