Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced, self-driven Operations Lead Manager with strong expertise in AI/ML projects, data services, and end-to-end project management. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently handling multiple projects, managing resources, coordinating with clients, and ensuring successful project delivery without continuous supervision from senior management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end AI/ML and data services projects from onboarding to final delivery.
• Handle projects involving Data Collection, Data Sourcing, Data Annotation, Image/Video/Audio Processing, Transcription, OCR, LLM/RLHF, and Generative AI.
• Understand client requirements, analyze project feasibility, and prepare execution plans.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, productivity, quality, and deliverables.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage annotators, team leads, and project coordinators as required.
• Establish SOPs, quality control processes, productivity targets, and performance monitoring systems.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding project updates, technical clarifications, quality concerns, and delivery schedules.
• Independently resolve operational challenges, resource shortages, and project escalations.
• Monitor project costs, resource utilization, operational efficiency, and profitability.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports, productivity dashboards, and project performance reports.
• Take complete ownership of project execution and delivery with minimal management intervention.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in AI/ML data operations, data annotation, or AI training-data services.
• Strong knowledge of data annotation, data collection, dataset preparation, transcription, computer vision, NLP, and LLM-related projects.
• Proven experience independently managing client projects and operational teams.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and client communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, project management tools, and operational reporting.
• Ability to manage high-volume projects, tight deadlines, and multiple teams.
• Basic understanding of Python, data processing, automation, and technical workflows is preferred.
• Experience working with international clients and AI data services companies is an advantage.
