About this role
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead overall operations of the Machine Division, including Production, Planning, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch.
- Ensure on-time execution and delivery of machines as per customer commitments.
- Drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop and implement systems, processes, and manufacturing best practices.
- Establish performance metrics and monitor productivity, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost KPIs.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Design, Projects, Sales, and Service teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
- Lead capacity planning, budgeting, manpower planning, and operational strategy.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. MBA preferred.
- 20+ years of experience in Machine Manufacturing, Capital Equipment, Heavy Engineering, Industrial Machinery, or Automation Industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role such as Operations Head, Plant Head, Manufacturing Head, or Business Unit Head.
- Strong exposure to Fabrication, Machining, Assembly, Testing, and Project-Based Manufacturing.
- Proven track record in driving operational excellence, quality improvements, and profitability.
- Experience in leading large cross-functional teams.
