Operations Executive

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Executive E-commerce Operations to manage day-to-day e-commerce activities across online marketplaces and the company’s website. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in order processing, inventory management, marketplace operations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily e-commerce operations across marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and the company website.
• Process and monitor customer orders, dispatches, cancellations, returns, and refunds.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure stock availability.
• Update product listings, pricing, images, descriptions, and product information across platforms.
• Monitor order fulfilment, delivery timelines, and return-to-origin (RTO) cases.
• Coordinate with logistics partners, warehouse teams, customer support, and marketplace account managers.
• Track sales, inventory, order status, and operational performance using Excel and marketplace dashboards.
• Resolve operational issues related to orders, listings, stock mismatches, and marketplace policies.
• Support promotional activities, sale events, and marketplace campaigns from an operational perspective.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines, service-level agreements (SLAs), and operational standards.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations.
• Hands-on experience with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, or similar platforms.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and marketplace seller dashboards.
• Understanding of order management, inventory control, returns, refunds, and logistics coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with OMS, ERP, WMS, or inventory management software.
• Knowledge of marketplace performance metrics and operational reporting.

• Order processing and dispatch turnaround time.
• Order fulfilment rate and cancellation rate.
• Inventory accuracy and stock availability.
• Return-to-origin (RTO) and return rates.
• Listing accuracy and operational error rate.
• Timely reporting and resolution of operational issues.
