Summary: Lead and manage enterprise network security operations with strong expertise in firewalls, proxy solutions, and security tools, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance across environments.
Key Responsibilities: Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Network Routing & switching, Next Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto is MUST), PRISMA Proxy , NAC 8-10 years hands on experience in Palo alto Firewalls and Zscaler Proxy. Expected some hands-on experience in Fore scout and Cisco ISE etc. Expected to have good working experience in Wireshark, Splunk tools to handle Critical/High issues during our P1/P2 troubleshooting calls. Responsible to manage the team, regularly join in Shift handover calls and handle day-to-day Network security operations (Service-now Requests, Incidents, Problem and Changes) without impacting business and client escalations. Actively participate in RCA (root cause analysis) during Problem management and client escalated discussions. Provide L3 / L4 support and drive troubleshooting calls towards resolution of the incident. Responsible to track and maintain ticket SLA (Service-now Requests, Incidents, Problem and Changes). Responsible to review Change implementations plan and provide approvals within time. Participate in Change Technical review call and CAB calls regularly. Do analysis of repeated Incident/request tickets and provide best practices and process to improve operational efficiency. Regularly join weekly or by-weekly Vendor and Vulnerability management discussions to get best practices and provide remediation steps. Sending daily and weekly status reports to Client and Project Managers. Understand requirements from client and create design documents. Prepare technical solutions and effort estimation for the projects Planning, coordinating, tracking and executing Migrations Motivate team members to upskill / cross skill and achieve their professional certifications. Prepare and present Network infrastructure health dashboards and maintain healthy status. Participate in vulnerability assessments, Client data protection meetings to provide remediation steps. Technical Experience: At least 8 years of excellent work experience in Firewalls, IPsec Tunnels, Proxies, NAC, VPN Team management Incident handling skills, use case management, risk assessment Implementation and maintenance of the Site-to-Site VPN tunnels. Implement the changes/network as applicable, test the changes and handover to customer. Expertise on ITIL processes and project management. (Preferable to have ITIL and Project management certification) Good To have: Hands on experience in Cisco, Arista switches and routers. Hands on experience in Forescout NAC and Cisco ISE Administration. Hands on experience in Wireshark, Splunk, Spectrum tools etc.
Professional Attributes: Should have excellent customer and vendor handling skills. Good verbal and written communication Should be flexible for 24X7 operations support. Educational Qualification: Bachelor or college degree in related field or equivalent work experience
