Role Summary:
- The candidate would be a part of the Operations team. He / She will receive training in operations process. Learn to ensure process excellence, data accuracy, and leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency. This role provides an opportunity for cross-functional collaboration across Middle Office, Compliance, etc. to ensure seamless execution and sustainable growth of the firm.
What Were Looking For:
- Recent graduate, who is passionate about learning and performing in a scalable, compliant, and technology-enabled operations environment. Driven by precision, process excellence and the opportunity to learn how a high-growth platform serves its clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Client onboarding documentation.
- 2. Co-ordination with Brokers for opening clients Trading Account with Custodian for opening custody Demat and Bank account.
- 3. Cash management and monitoring of Custody Bank Statement on daily basis.
- 4. Recording all activities of the Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Retail PMS, Proprietary A/cs in Wealth Spectrum (Portfolio Accounting System) and ensure the correctness of the entries posted (Trades, Income/Expenses, Corporate Actions, Pricing, etc.)
- 5. Daily reconciliation of cash and positions.
- 6. Daily trading activities of the portfolios i.e., post-market hours, trade execution verification with broker contract notes, etc.
- 7. Issuing settlement instruction to the Custodians for settlement of trades.
- 8. Daily portfolio accounting valuation.
- 9. End of day reporting to internal teams such as Compliance, Fund Managers, etc.
Expected Skills:
- Accounting knowledge is desirable.
- Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, accountability and ownership of work, deadline driven.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- English language skills, both spoken and written. Candidate must be able to speak fluent English and draft e-mails independently with correct grammar.
- High proficiency with MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Maintain high accuracy with numbers.
- Good Team-player with ability to prioritize functions and tasks.
Experience Education Qualification:
- Freshers, interested in developing their career in wealth management, asset management or investment operations of Indian PMS
