Job Summary

As an Operations Analyst Exception Processing you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of operational requests across retail and commercial banking products and services, including reconciliations and journal entries. The role supports query resolution, handles exceptions and discrepancies through root cause analysis, and ensures all activities are completed within SLA. It also contributes to process documentation, continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing across the team, and maintaining high levels of customer service for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to the internal and external customers
• Keeps the customer up to date and informed of progress
• Provide accurate and up to date information on all enquiries
• Manage and monitor the processing of daily requests in accordance with Bank policies/procedures and customer instructions
• Proactively identify gaps in the process and place internal controls to mitigate any operational risk
• Actively supports changes within team and business and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Strong ability to guide employees toward goal achievement through teamwork/collaboration, motivation and development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organisation
