About the Role

As an Operational Risk Data Analyst, you'll sit at the exciting crossroads of risk management and technology. You'll be translating complex business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions that enhance our operational risk framework. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop impactful dashboards and data visualizations that transform complex risk data into clear, actionable insights
• Implement and optimize workflows within the Palantir Foundry application suite to streamline operational risk processes
• Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions using existing Operational Risk Management (ORM) applications
• Leverage SQL, Python, and data visualization tools to create efficient and scalable reporting mechanisms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand diverse needs and deliver tailored, high-quality solutions
• Automate routine processes using robotic process automation to drive efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and solutions to ensure continued effectiveness and relevance
• Analyze operational risk data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement across the organization

You'll be joining the Operational Risk Management Governance team within Group Functions Risk Management (GFRM) - a collaborative, innovative, and purpose-driven team dedicated to excellence in risk management. The team is focused on advancing operational risk activities in line with a clearly defined vision, applying technology and analytics expertise to enhance both the effectiveness and efficiency of operational risk management across the organization. Together, the team develops forward-looking solutions that strengthen the risk management framework and drive meaningful change at a global scale. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in data analytics, risk management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and delivering dashboards and/ or developing workflows within the Palantir Foundry application suite (including CodeWorkbook, Code Repositories, Workshop, and Ontology Manager)
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with robotic process automation (RPA)
• Understanding of enterprise risk management concepts and frameworks
• Experience working in the financial services or insurance industry
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
• Ability to prioritize multiple topics simultaneously and switch fluidly between detailed analytics and big-picture thinking
• Experience working in multicultural, global environments

We have a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
